The First Series offers newcomers a gentle entrance to Ashtanga yoga. Those already familiar with it will find a complete flowing and challenging First Series session.
Exquisite, inspiring presentation of the primary series, including standing poses, forward bends, hip stretches, twists, arm balances, inversions, backbends and transition movements. Instruction is clear, thorough, and helpful. Shows alternatives to hard movements so all viewers can do the series. Helps students use breathing as a source of strength and flexibility. This session will challenge students of all levels.
