The Travel Mat is designed specifically for yogis on the go. It weighs less than 1 1/2 lbs. and folds or rolls compactly in your suitcase. Many teachers and students like to use the Travel Mat under a rug or towel to prevent them from sliding on the floor. This durable, light-weight mat is a terrific value and perfect for travel. It is a good, non-stick buffer between the floor and a practice rug, but is generally not recommended as the sole mat for your yoga practice.
